The roasting course combines craft with history. The green coffee is roasted the traditional way — in the hand-operated ball roaster built in 1902. An experience that brings you close to the original charm of coffee roasting.
The course takes place regularly in Burgau and can be booked for individuals or groups. You can also book our historic roasting experience for your own event.

The location
The course takes place in the shadow of Burgau's church tower. The courtyard of the former Kronenwirtschaft inn, built in 1612, is the perfect setting for historic coffee roasting.
We answer every question and surprise our guests with fascinating facts — not only about the bean and the roast, but also about the history of coffee in Germany.
